At Tara, you can choose to secure your ride with our insured booking add-on for an extra layer of safety. This feature is optional and designed to provide limited coverage during your trip.
- Charges for insured booking vary depending on vehicle type and service level.
- This option is only available when paying via Tara Wallet or Tara Pay.
- Coverage includes medical expenses for minor injuries resulting from road incidents or accidents during service.
- Severe incidents may be escalated for further assistance and investigation, but still within policy limitations.
What’s NOT Covered
- Loss or theft of personal belongings left inside the vehicle.
- Any personal or third-party obligations not related to the Tara trip.
- Incidents arising from user negligence, intoxication, or misconduct.
- Unauthorized or tampered payment attempts.

While our drivers are trained and services are monitored, unpredictable incidents can happen. By activating insured booking, you get added protection without complications—just in case.

Claim Process
- Report incidents via in-app support within 24 hours of the ride.
- Attach trip ID, booking details, and clear descriptions or photos.
- Our team will assess and provide updates within 3–5 business days.
Tara reserves the right to update the insurance policy terms at any time to improve user protection and service reliability.
