No Penalties for Honest Cancellations
We understand that plans change. At Tara, you may cancel your booking at any time without penalties as long as the cancellation is done in good faith and within a reasonable time.
System Validation & Anti-Fraud Checks
To ensure a fair experience for all users and our partner drivers, our system automatically performs validation checks to detect patterns of fake or abusive bookings.
- We gather and log the exact coordinates at the time of booking to help validate user intent.
- Users found making 3 or more fraudulent bookings may have their account temporarily banned.
- Bans are communicated via email and in-app notification.
- Accounts may only be reinstated after providing a valid justification subject to review by our support team.
Severe Violations
If a booking is cancelled after a driver has arrived or the service has already begun, especially on multiple occasions, this is considered a serious offense.
- We reserve the right to apply monetary penalties in such cases.
- In extreme or repeated violations, legal action may be pursued.
